Tom Curren & Bethany Hamilton in Indonesia
What are the chances of seeing three-time world champion Tom Curren in the Singapore airport on the way to Indonesia? Tyler and Luke, Bethany Hamilton and her friend Alana Mock, and Matt Beacham were all very excited to add Tom Curren to the roster of surfers aboard The Midas yacht. The first few days were filled with perfect waves, delicious food, and a ton of fun. Just when we were getting used to having Tom Curren as part of our team, we ran into Andy Irons, Mark Occihlupo, Luke Egan, and Dave Rastovich. It was great watching Tyler and Luke have the time of their lives surfing alongside these world class surfers, riding jet skis, attending a local church service at Lance’s Right, playing soccer with the Indonesian kids on the beach, and having evening Bible studies. Thank you to all who supported this dream trip both prayerfully and financially. God heard our prayers and answered them. How great is our God!

Scotland 06
The Lord is moving in the United Kingdom! Walking on Water in partnership with Globe Missionary Evangelism just got back from an amazing two weeks of ministry in Scotland and England. Director of Outreach Mike Doyle with Globe president Doug Gehman headed up a team that did a series of outreaches in Glasgow, Dundee, Dumbarton, Carluke, and Clydebank, Scotland and at the Christian festival Love Bristol in Bristol, England. The team which also included pro surfer Matt Beacham, pro skater Richard Mulder, and the Apostle and Today’s skateboard teams did skate demos, two Noah’s Arc premieres, a big skate outreach, and tons of one on one evangelism. The trip was a huge success and God moved in a big way with hundreds of young people praying to receive Christ. Japan Update
Our Director of Surf Missions, recently returned from a mission trip to Japan, which is still one of the most unreached countries in the world. We were working in the prefecture of Fukushima with Christian Surfers Japan. Our time was spent building friendships with the local surfers, showing Noah’s Arc, passing out a thousand free Outsiders DVD’s, and surfing together. Our team was privileged enough to see five Japanese surfers accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior! Many more expressed a new found interest in Christ. After one of the Noah’s Arc showings a guy named Ipea had this to say, “The DVD really made me think deeply not only of surfing but also of the presence of God. The Walking On Water Book
Jeremy Jones, associate editor of Breakaway Magazine, has written a book entitled “Walking on Water” and is published by Regal Books. This book looks into the lives of the some of the world’s best surfers who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The book tells of a global movement within the surf culture of lives being changed by God. Some of the surfers featured in this book are the Hobgoods, Matt Beacham, Jesse Hines, Bethany Hamilton, Joey Buran, Jesse Schluntz (director of The Outsiders), Nic McLean (director of Noah’s Arc) and Bryan Jennings. Take the DVD Giveaway Challenge
We are looking for people to take the challenge and impact their community for Christ. With 100 volunteers at the US Open we were able to pass out over 23,000 copies of Noah’s Arc. This gave opportunities for the volunteers to share Christ with people around them. 2nd Annual US Open Outreach
At the 2nd Annual US Open Outreach we had an incredible response. Here is an encouraging email from one recipient:
