The Message

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” - Romans 6:4

As we approach this Easter let us remember Christ’s death but more importantly His resurrection. We celebrate Easter because our eternal hope is built on the resurrection of Jesus, who was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father. This great act of love was done so that we would know how truly great God’s glory is. It is through Christ’s obedience that death was conquered and gave us eternal life. Therefore, let us walk in a newness of life, giving God glory through our obedience to Him.

Do you have a Personal Ministry?

A personal ministry means that you are in some way focused on sharing the gospel with your friends, family and fellow surfers. Do you find opportunities to share God’s word with family and friends? We have been hearing that some of our friends at Walking On Water give away Walking On Water DVDs as part of their personal ministry. The Outsiders and Noah’s Arc are making their way into homes all over the world, making a difference one by one. It is an easy and effective way of sharing the gospel. This month we had a special donation to cover the cost of 200 DVDs to make them available for your personal ministries. Please call the Walking On Water office at (858)509-7977 to place a special no-cost order as long as they last, and as always you can also go to our website to purchase DVDs. Please let us know how you see the DVDs impacting others. We want to share your stories in our newsletter, encourage others, and rejoice in what God is doing in all of our lives. It is interesting that the disciples were most excited after Jesus sent them out to do their own personal ministries. Luke 10:17

Walking On Water Dream Surf Camps 2007

With each new sign-up we are getting more excited for this summer’s Dream Surf Camps. Space is still available for both surf camps so visit our website and sign up your camper. Also joining us this summer are professional surfers Noah Snyder, Jesse Hines, Matt Beacham and C.T. Taylor. This will be one summer you won’t want to miss! Every year we receive several requests for surf camp scholarships, please keep in mind that you have the opportunity to donate to the camp scholarship fund. Prayer and Fasting for 2007

We would like to thank all of you who have signed up for our Prayer and Fasting team. We believe, as James 5:16 states, “the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” If you would like to be a part of the Prayer and Fasting team we will send you an email on the 6th and 7th of each month with our prayer requests and praise reports. “Heart of a Soul Surfer” Premieres in Australia

Heart of a Soul Surfer premiered in Australia at Christian City Church in Oxford Falls, NSW and at the Honeysuckle Workshops in Newcastle, NSW. Bethany was the special guest at both events. Over 700 junior high and high school students showed up at the Oxford Falls premiere and around 50 people made decisions for Jesus Christ! At the Newcastle premiere, hosted by YWAM and Christian Surfers, around 500 people of all ages came and many people made decisions for God! Praise God for what he did in New South Wales and we pray that He will open up more opportunities in other parts of Australia!

Walking On Water is building a street team in preparation for the release of our upcoming film. Join the Walking on Water street team and for $10 receive a street team t-shirt, a DVD trailer, along with stickers, posters and a hat. Pensacola Fundraiser Banquet Update

Walking On Water held its first annual Gulf Coast Fundraiser Banquet on Saturday, March 10th in Pensacola, Florida. The dinner was held at The Angus restaurant and we had a packed house of over 160 people. Bryan Jennings, Mike Doyle, professional surfer Matt Beacham, president of Globe Missions Doug Gehman, and president of Surfers On Mission Buck Waters shared with the audience the wonderful things God is doing through Walking On Water. Local artist Kelley Keenan provided music for the evening. Many gave generously to support Walking On Water, as well as committed to the Praying and Fasting team. We were humbled by the love and support of our Pensacola family. Walking On Water would like to extend a very special thanks to Buck and Donna Waters for all their hard work and for making the night such a great success.
