Testimony from San Diego Premiere
We often receive emails from people all over the world whose lives have been touched by a Walking On Water outreach event or by watching one of our movies in their homes. Here is an email that was sent to our director Bryan Jennings the day after the San Diego premiere of Walking On Water in January of 2008.
“My son Luke recently started hanging out with the guys at the La Jolla Surfers Fellowship. He
heard about the Premiere of ‘Walking On Water’, and asked me to take off work and go with
him. I am a very “Workaholic” person, and rarely will take time off work. (I work 24 hours. I’m
a San Diego Firefighter at Fire Station 13, across the street from La Jolla High) However: this
time was different. I could hear Luke’s heart talking. I listened to ‘That still small voice inside’ and took the night off. I am so thankful I
did..... I want you to know that your obedience to God’s call in your life has another praise! Luke stood up for Jesus at your invitation!!!
To see my son receive Christ is THE MOST POWERFUL EVENT I have ever witnessed!!! I am a very thankful Dad!! (As is my wife, oh....
and all the angels in heaven!) I am very thankful for folks like you, that step out, and answered Jesus call to “Go into all the world”.

2008 Dream Surf Camps
With such a successful summer in 2007 we are excited to announce the dates for this summer’s
Dream Surf Camps! It is every young surfer’s dream to be able to surf with one of their
heroes of the sport. At the Walking On Water Dream Surf Camps this becomes your reality.
This summer, experience a surfer’s dream camp with a week of surfing, hanging out with
your favorite surfers, and learning and growing in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
This year Walking On Water will host one junior high Dream Surf Camp from July 14th
through the 18th and one high school Dream Surf Camp from July 21st through the 25th. Both
will be held at UCSD in La Jolla, California. We look forward to a great summer and ask that

Walking On Water Premiere in San Diego
Having such a successful East Coast tour in the fall of 2007, we were excited to premiere Walking On Water in our home-town of San Diego. On January 24th we hosted the premiere at the Rock Church to an audience of over 2,000 people. Special guest appearances by the founder of Channel Island Surfboards Al Merrick, three-time world champion Tom Curren, surfing legend and shaper Skip Frye, professional surfer Damien Hobgood, and Fuel TV host and professional surfer Matt Beacham made the night unforgettable. Tom Curren’s band opened up the evening followed by an interview time with the special guests.
After the film Bryan Jennings shared the Gospel message and many people made first time decisions for Christ. It was an incredible and encouraging night to see the surfing community come out for the San Diego premiere. This was a great start to the West Coast Tour and we are anticipating a great tour up the coast for the months of February, March and April.
